Stop looking: this is the best job that exists

Wow, so you think you’ve got a killer job at Amayzine. We do have that too (read here why for a moment), but I can tell you: it can always be better. I just stumbled upon the freaking best job I’ve ever read about. Can I get a little drumroll?

Mondelez (the owner of Milka and Oreo) is looking for a chocolate taster. Yes. It. Exists. Do you hear that? You should know that there’s a kind of vein in my head that bursts when I see someone in the office opening a chocolate bar. Or a Ben & Jerry’s tub of ice cream, but that’s another story.

May, can I take a month or three off?

What the company is exactly looking for? Someone who tastes their newest flavors and gives ‘objective and honest feedback’ about it. You can help decide what goes on the chocolate shelves and yes, you’ll just get euros in your bank. The intensity of the job is also quite manageable, because we’re talking about working 7.5 hours a week, spread over three afternoons. So it’s totally doable. And you immediately get eleven fellow panel members to chat with during the chocolate tasting. Now that’s what I call hard work.
And for those who immediately think I’ll quit (I don’t blame you) you just have to hop on a plane to Reading in the UK. Never heard of it by the way, but they make chocolate so this is the place to be. May, can I take a month or three off? Just read the job listing and then I really think you’ll get it. I believe I’ve found my calling.
