I think I was about eleven when I first saw this movie. At the time, I didn't understand anything about the ending, because (sorry, spoiler) you fight for love, right? But in this film, Humphrey Bogart shows that true love doesn't necessarily mean that you always get the girl.

Romantic films, they used to be quite different than they are today. An Affair to Remember, another classic with those almost moments where you hope that the two lovers finally end up together. From a secret affair on a ship and plans to meet each other after six months at the Empire State Building to an accident where the two lovers drift even further apart. Old school Hollywood, I love it.

Another masterpiece from long before my time that cannot be missing from my list. Clark Gable as Rhett Butler and Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind. The film is about the handsome but cynical adventurer (Gable) who falls in love with the manipulative spoiled brat (Leigh) during the American Civil War. It takes some time to get used to the two characters, but that is exactly what makes this film so unique and it must be checked off your must-see list.

I told you I had some news too, right? Well, this is the best of both worlds: both my favorite animal and a romantic story that will make your heart melt. I promise. It revolves around a dog named Bailey whose life is followed and who keeps coming back as reincarnation to a different owner, and then suddenly he comes back in a crazy way to his very first owner Ethan. A story about not only the love for humans but also how a dog can make your life more beautiful.
