The department store of the future
Trust me, you want to work here
Has it always been your dream to work in fashion? To be part of a large department store? In fact, of a grand retail start-up? Or are you just ready for a completely new challenge? Then let me open my job drawer for a moment. Hudson’s Bay (you know, that cool department store from Canada) is coming to the Netherlands. To Amsterdam, Leiden, Rotterdam, Breda, Maastricht, The Hague, Almere, Zwolle, Tilburg, and Den Bosch. Nowhere in the world have so many department stores opened in such a short period. So there’s a good chance that a location will open somewhere around the corner from you.
And here is the good part: they are looking for colleagues. And not just a few. I’m talking about the 1800 coolest, nicest, most welcoming colleagues who go the extra mile. Who have guts. It’s just that I’m writing, but the chance to think along and help build the department store of the future sounds really good to me. Although in my case, I fear it wouldn’t be very wise for my wallet. Plus; I just got a new Gucci baby that needs to be taken care of (check her here by the way), so the wallet is a bit tight.
And if you think that with those 1800 jobs it’s just about folding clothes, you’re mistaken. From leadership, hosts to sales; everything, and I mean everything, is still open. Starting June 1, the lucky ones will be trained at the Hudson’s Bay Academy. You’ll learn everything about the most beautiful fashion brands, beauty products, and home collections. And hello, bouncing around in a department store after closing time is secretly the dream of every person, right?.
Excited? Like-minded Heartbeats can sign up via hudsonsbay.nl. And, this is how you tackle that application. Go get them, tiger.
