Utopia is stopping!

I once saw one episode, but it was not love between us. That can happen, of course, but I know it can be different. Kaj from Kaj's characters seems to be a fan, and I even know people (whom I see daily) for whom it is a huge guilty pleasure. Utopia. But I have bad news, because it is stopping. SBS and Talpa have to reluctantly pull the plug on the program because the Municipality of Laren thinks it has been nice enough. The site is no longer rented out to the makers.

I called SBS for a response, but the phone was so busy that I couldn't get anyone on the line. I understand, because I think Holland is in an uproar. Half a million fellow citizens will have to find another pastime on weekdays between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM starting June 1, 2018. As crazy as it is, I think I’m going to miss it. It was a regular item in my zap round. It was the knowledge that they were just there and occasionally causing quite a stir. Utopia, farewell. Oh yes, the climax and final episode seems to be quite a treat. So pay close attention for a little longer.
