Waking up with pizza. breakfast pizza, yes.

Are you waking up with a hangover and is the only thing you can think of right now a pizza topped with layers of melted cheese? Then I have good news for you. Or not, it’s just how you look at it. Today we are having pizza for breakfast, because we can. A bit different from what you’re used to; healthy, but still delicious. Happy Sunday, friend.

  • 225 gr oats
  • 95 gr almonds
  • 6 tbsp maple syrup
  • 5 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 100 gr butter
  • 250 ml quark or Greek yogurt
  • 250 gr fresh strawberries or blueberries
  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
  2. Put 150 grams of the oats in the blender and grind finely into flour.
  3. Chop the nuts into coarse pieces.
  4. Combine the flour with the nuts, the coconut, the remaining oats, and the maple syrup in a bowl and add the softened butter.
  5. Mix everything until you get a dough ball.
  6. Line a 26 cm springform pan with baking paper and press the dough out over the bottom. Make sure the entire bottom is covered and that it comes up 1 centimeter on the edges.
  7. Bake the base for 20 minutes until done.
  8. Remove the form from the oven and let it cool for a moment.
  9. Mix the quark with the remaining maple syrup and lime zest.
  10. Slice the strawberries, spread the quark over the base, and top with the strawberries.
