Waking up with pizza. breakfast pizza, yes.
Are you waking up with a hangover and is the only thing you can think of right now a pizza topped with layers of melted cheese? Then I have good news for you. Or not, it’s just how you look at it. Today we are having pizza for breakfast, because we can. A bit different from what you’re used to; healthy, but still delicious. Happy Sunday, friend.
- 225 gr oats
- 95 gr almonds
- 6 tbsp maple syrup
- 5 tbsp coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp lime zest
- 100 gr butter
- 250 ml quark or Greek yogurt
- 250 gr fresh strawberries or blueberries
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
- Put 150 grams of the oats in the blender and grind finely into flour.
- Chop the nuts into coarse pieces.
- Combine the flour with the nuts, the coconut, the remaining oats, and the maple syrup in a bowl and add the softened butter.
- Mix everything until you get a dough ball.
- Line a 26 cm springform pan with baking paper and press the dough out over the bottom. Make sure the entire bottom is covered and that it comes up 1 centimeter on the edges.
- Bake the base for 20 minutes until done.
- Remove the form from the oven and let it cool for a moment.
- Mix the quark with the remaining maple syrup and lime zest.
- Slice the strawberries, spread the quark over the base, and top with the strawberries.
