what you want to see from the mtv vmas

If there has been an award show, I usually really enjoy making a sort of summary of all the highlights (and lowlights). For example, Lilian and I pulled an all-nighter last February (just a night without sleep, that is) to have all the ins and outs about the Oscars live for you. Last night there may not have been any Oscars, but the MTV Video Music Awards are also full of craziness every year, making it fun to follow. However, this year there was only one thing I was really curious about.

As you may have already noticed: Taylor Swift had a hold on me last week. All those mysterious posts on Instagram, and then the news that a new album was on the way. Then suddenly there was her new single ‘Look What You Made Me Do‘, which clearly had a number of hard jabs aimed at a certain Hollywood it-couple. And then there were the VMAs. Officially, Taylor is really back now, with a new music video and all. So it's really fun, Katy Perry dressed as Khaleesi, Miley not walking around half-naked for once, Hailey Baldwin in a jumpsuit that can go straight into my closet, and P!nk singing all her greatest hits… But what I wanted was Taylor.
