THE PANTS FROM YOOST ARE GREAT FOR THE MAN - BUT also FOR YOU
…if you dare
Just without joking. This morning, really this morning (okay, for you yesterday morning) I stumbled upon a pair of pants in my friend's closet. Nooooo, not very strange indeed, in the closet of many men you will find a pair of pants. But this time my eye fell on a new pair of pants that I. did. not. know. A pair of pants from the brand Yoost. At first I thought: huh? Don't know it? What a weird brand? Why don't I know the brand? Why? What is this hell? And why did I know nothing about a new pair of pants? But then I was sure: I am going to steal these pants soon. They looked so beautiful, simple, multifunctional, and cool.
You have to pay attention. An hour later, I was chilling in my algorithmic echo chamber, (Facebook), and I stumbled upon a message from Marketing Tribune about the (youth and young adults) trends of 2017. Sounds boring, it is too if you don't like marketing trends, but what I want to say is: it was about Yoost. One of the bigger trends in fashionland is: ‘fashion without ego’, of which the label would be the perfect example. Short explanation, just hold on: the surge of clothing choices is massively overwhelming us. You get it, I get it, there is also way too much supply. Sometimes I spend from 21 to 22.59 throwing things in baskets and still don't know what I will and won't buy. The answer to the overload is: fashion without ego! Items in manageable quantities that are stunningly beautiful, but simple and multifunctional. Garments for beautiful prices and top quality, and a limited number of standard models. Items without imposed total image, without so-called ‘ego’. And as a nice example of this, the pants from the Dutch Yoost Clothing were mentioned. Now I ask you. Is that coincidence or is that coincidence?
I have no idea if it's coincidence. That's a much too deep question for this piece.
Yoost Clothing (‘Garments without ego’) are therefore good pants with a top cut in just four standard models, which go by the names Whatever Works, Mr. Smartpants, Bye Bye Skinny, and Everything Goes. So it's easy to choose. And on the Yoost site, it says: they don't care who you are or what you do and where you wear the pants. Whether you are going to an underground party in Berlin or to the reception of a wedding, it's all good. Go and do what you feel like doing.
That's what I say: good idea for your husband who wants to be ready in a flash and do his own thing. But honestly also for yourself. Because they are cool, dude.
