A hangover is always lurking on Saturday morning and you’re not surprised anymore when you start your weekend by dangling half an hour above the toilet bowl. You regret it. Again. Unfortunately, we have even more things you can regret; we’ve calculated a few things for you. What turns out? A hangover costs you about 2000 euros a year. And that’s not even overly generous, you know. We keep it even modest.

If you drink every weekend and spend 40 euros on beer, wine, cocktails, or even more wine, then you’re looking at an annual amount of 2080 euros. Not exaggerated at all, because there are surely nights when it gets out of hand and you suddenly find yourself 100 euros lighter. On the other hand, there are also rare weekends when you just stay home. Good. On the couch. With tea. That’s practically free.

That’s why we think for convenience to consider an average of 40 euros per week spent on drinks. Just on drinks. On that hangover from Saturday morning, then. Suppose you never drink, then after two years you have money left over for a Chanel bag. Just saying, huh. And have a nice weekend.
