And now done with the Boomerang

I still remember when it came: the boomerang. Jet brought it. We did a little dance. Something with skirts and hips. I wanted to join, but I hadn't turned it on. So my first boomerang was a failure. We moved without the conscious effect and I left it at that. Wisely, if I may say so, because boomerangs are only fun if you're ‘on it’. And if you're good at it. Then they can be fun and add something. But otherwise, the rule is: when in doubt, don't catch up.

I'll go through the worst with you for a moment.

The cheers-boomerang

You've definitely seen this one a crazy amount this weekend. Glasses to each other AND back. Here we go. Back and forth and again. I must say this is the boomerang where things can go wrong the least. And well, if there's something in the glass, I understand you want to join in and sway along. Anyway.

The hips-boomerang

One should take two or three cheeky, happy girls, preferably with a skirt. Let them sway with their hips and shake with their shoulders. If possible, add a cheeky yet sultry little tongue sticking out and voilà, there is the hips-boomerang. Be warned, the same rule applies to this boomerang as the bare upper arm rule: above twenty-eight years, I would refrain from it.

The selfie-boomerang

No matter how skilled in Instagram and despite millions of followers, this boomerang can be buried right away as far as I'm concerned. We already have the elfie. Fine. Then there's the selfie film where you see an Insta-type moving for a few seconds, for example walking or in the car; really extremely interesting and captivating. The ultimate version of all this is the selfie-boomerang. If there's anyone waiting for this, they can raise their hand.

The wink-boom

Often accompanied by the tongue-out boom. As far as I'm concerned, the same rules apply here as in points 1 and 2: leave it to the professionals. And to the youth. It quickly becomes what, how shall I put it, is 'ridiculous' the right word?

Should you ever see me shuffling by boomeranging on Instagram? A corrective tap is hereby permitted. I probably practiced the cheers-boom a bit too much beforehand. Have a nice day today!
