According to researchers, men who are newly single are actually a bit less happy than women. At least 33% of men rate their single life situation as insufficient compared to 10% of single women. And then that whole game of pretending everything is going excellently is just something that comes with it.
It seems that single women are doing a bit better than single men, because according to science, women are happier without a partner for longer than men. This is mainly because women are better at maintaining social contacts. They really have that packed schedule with tons of clubs, girlfriend groups, and family gatherings.
