Amayzine

Are you coming to my summer party?

Are you in the country on June 2nd? And do you happen to have a wedding that day? Well, then I have something incredibly fun, because we are throwing a party: The House of Amayzine. We have rented the beautiful Huize Frankendael in Amsterdam and are going to create a lovely afternoon there. Together with our dear friends from Renault, we are organizing an inspiration afternoon with a strong touch of Paris. Because when you say Paris, you breathe class and style, and that is of course what it’s all about in life. The day looks like this.

Top stylist Manon Meijers (you know, the one with whom I had this spicy piece of intimate online dating and who is responsible for the looks of Wendy van Dijk, Ruben Nicolai, Marieke Elsinga, Guus Meeuwis, and many other famous people) is giving a workshop on personal styling. Interesting if you want to know how to capture your own style and ensure that it aligns with who you are and how you stand in life. But also fascinating if you want to embark on the stylist path yourself. And definitely fun, because with Manon it’s all about laughter and joy.

Former editor Liesbeth Rasker has written a book about traveling: Paying in Mongolia and other solvable travel inconveniences. I find it incredibly fun and indeed quite special that she is there on this day to tell you everything about traveling and her adventures and to show you how you can complete that somewhat daunting journey with ease. And where you must have been in life.

I will talk about the importance of a signature look signature in life. I dare to say with cautious certainty that successful people have a signature. Jort's suspenders, Angela Merkel's suits, Michelle Obama's arms, Coco Chanel's pearls. A signature look, in short, what does it entail, who was particularly good at it, and how do you find yours?

Furthermore, we have champagne, a happy and healthy lunch, the top hairstylists from The Building are ready to cut French bangs, and of course, there are the candies from Renault with which you can take the best photo against a Parisian background and have a chance to win a fantastic prize.

Everyone gets a goodie bag that will make you melt, so nice. First of all, there’s the bag itself. A customized, limited ‘Je Suis Amayzine’ bag that I am really looking forward to. Inside, of course, is our summer issue: an Amayzine newspaper. Yes, we have made a NEWSPAPER for this day. Furthermore, the Sea Salt Spray from Keune (worth €17.95), a wonderfully sturdy and thick notebook from Studio Stationery (also worth €14.95), a nail polish set from OPI (worth €14.95), and a super handy phone holder from Renault that allows you to click your mobile onto your dashboard (also worth €14.95).

The cost of the day is €49.95, but you’ll easily make that back with the goodie bag, all while laughing. It’s an intimate event, so if you want to be there, order your tickets quickly. See you then. I’m looking forward to it!
