Bad news for all fans of ’13 Reasons Why’

Say, dear Netflix friends, are you all excited for the third season of favorite ’13 Reasons Why’? Then we have to disappoint you quite a bit.

Because the third season is still a while away. You have of course already watched seasons 1 and 2 episode after episode, but because negotiations are still ongoing about the actors' salaries, the production of the promised third season hasn't even started yet.

It's a hassle, because the actors want much more money than Netflix actually wants to give them... Dylan Minnette, who plays Clay Jensen, wants to have 172,000 euros deposited into his bank account per episode. Uh, yes. That's what he demands. There are about ten episodes per season, so do the math. But on the other hand... The actors also make the series a success in their own way. So if Dylan steps out and thinks: goodbye, then Netflix has a problem too. He knows that. That's why he's negotiating so fiercely. The rest of the cast (Justin, Jessica, Bryce, and Tony) are asking for about 130,000 euros per episode.
