After the sushi cake of last year, I had a name to uphold. Yes, sorry, but you celebrate your birthday well at the office or you celebrate it well. Annick agreed too. She had also had her birthday, so we joined forces. There was brainstorming. Thinking. A plan was forged.

What do you order at an editorial office full of cheese fanatics? Suddenly we had it. Right, a cheesecake. MADE OF REAL CHEESE. Camembert from the oven with figs, nuts, and rosemary. I mean: come on people, this is brilliantly conceived. No, I wish I had done it myself. It’s the people from Borrelplank Amsterdam who came up with the cheese cake. Floor, you are amazing. You understand: this thing was gone in no time yesterday (a kílo of cheese, no joke) and then we were punished by not being allowed to have dinner. But man oh man, it was worth it. The dream of every cheese freak.
