Featuring Kendall Jenner

If I have to point out a woman I admire for her presence, it is Kendall Jenner. Okay, and Oprah Winfrey of course, but we've already praised those enough. Kendall wore a stunning Giambattista Valli Haute Couture dress in which she shone despite the understated dress code that read ‘black’. But above all, she made an impression by responding to comments about her skin. Her message was that acne should never hold you back from doing fun things. And when Kendall says it, it has impact. Did you know that she was the woman who received the most likes on her Instagram posts in 2015? Influential, in short. That's why I kick off this new column with queen Kendall.

Style

Kendall loves feminine. Lots of dresses where you need little imagination and creativity if you're curious about how Kendall would look without a dress. Feminine, so, but certainly also funky and surprising.

Boots

Kendall is a boot woman. In all kinds and flavors, she has them with Yeezy (from brother-in-law Kanye West) as her royal supplier. A lace-up boot halfway up the thigh from Dsquared, mid-height suede boots with a flashy block heel from Gianvito Rossi, patent boots from Kenneth Cole, and so on. It's just that she's also a huge sneaker fan and doesn't shy away from a classic pump; otherwise, you could cautiously speak of a signature.

Labels

Kendall isn't shy about a logo here and there, although she always downsizes a statement piece with the rest of her look. So if she wears a T-shirt with the text DIOR ADDICT (a phrase that John Galliano used when he was the designer of the house and which was incredibly true in every way), she wears bulky jeans underneath. And if there's a Givenchy bra involved with Givenchy written in capitals on the closure band (what do you call such a thing?) and you only wear a sheer top over it, she opts for a totally deconstructed denim from One Teaspoon underneath. It's about the mix; otherwise, it's too easy, you know?

Lingerie

Lingerie can be seen on Kendall. So she wears nightgowns as tops when she goes to Jimmy Kimmel (again paired with jeans) and wears a lace bralette over a white T-shirt or she opts for a statement bra and combines it with a sheer lace top.

If you have it, flaunt it

Cut-out dresses (dresses with cut-out bites in plain language), sheer dresses, and high slits. If possible, Kendall opts for a lot of skin. After all, you don't gnaw on carrots all year for nothing.
