Drunk Dave lives on welfare level starting today

Dave Roelvink has had a turbulent weekend. He spent a night in jail, just like four years ago.

Not so smart of Dries‘ son. He was driving way too fast – 180 kilometers per hour where he was only allowed to go 100 kilometers per hour – and then he got into trouble. It soon became clear that Dave had had one drink too many. The reality star had drunk no less than 2.5 times the legal limit. In the end, he had to spend at least three hours in jail. Not really the best preparation when you have to live on welfare starting today. Father Dries is not amused and will definitely have a serious talk with his son. ‘I will certainly confront him about it,’ he states.

But according to Dave himself, it's not that bad and ‘the police reacted way too harshly’. He does admit that it's ‘very stupid’ to get behind the wheel after drinking too much. ‘I was only in jail for three hours, so it's not that bad.’ Still, he has temporarily lost his driver's license. And maybe be a bit frugal now, huh, Davie? It will save you a lot of money on gas. Think positively.
