even over the crown iii best wel schokkend nieuws

Maybe it's because of Meghan and Harry, but I have even more desire to watch The Crown than usual. Especially because we are now entering an era that I remember things from. And especially also II: because we know what juicy (and tragic, that too) things await us. You can hardly think of anything better. Good. Season three is in the works, and this is what I managed to pry loose (or actually: managed to google, let me not crown myself as an incredible Sherlock Holmes here).

1. Lady Diana comes into the picture

That's what I'm most looking forward to. Who plays her is not yet known. So curious.

2. Camilla is introduced

You mention one, then you expect the other. We will see Camilla Parker-Bowles in season three and I am curious about her younger version, and who will play her.

3. Helena Bonham-Carter

She will play the older version of Margaret. She remains rock ’n roll, that Margaret, that much is clear.

4. Margaret is getting a divorce

From Snowdon. It was of course already on the cards, but now we will actually see it.

5. The Queen is being replaced

I almost wanted to say ‘refreshed’, but that's not true. We actually need an older Anne. That's why Claire Foy can take off her heavy crown and pass it on to Olivia Colman.

6. And a new Philip

Because he is also getting older. The new Philip will be played by Tobias Menzies, whom you know, at least if you watch Game of Thrones, from his portrayal of Edmure Tully.

7. When, when, when?

The BBC itself says we shouldn't expect the third season before early 2019, but the other two seasons were available in November and December, so fans expect that we can binge this winter comfortably with a blanket, chocolate, and a fireplace.

Did I already say that I can't wait?
