Drought takes down weather site
Buienradar is bankrupt. The weather site has gone under due to a lack of rain.
“Well,” says Jacob Kampenaar, head of Cumulus Clouds at Buienradar. “When we started the site, there were just a lot of showers. We thought: there's a market for this. We just never considered that it could stop raining. We were only focused on precipitation. That's what's breaking us now.”’
