Hell to the yes: a Dutch Netflix Original series is coming

It's sunglasses weather and the Netherlands is cheerful. Can it get any better today? YES, it can. Because Netflix has just announced that they are working on a Dutch production. Yes, it's all still quite mysterious, but this is what the video streaming service wants to reveal at least. “Some unwritten rules should not be broken. In free-spirited Amsterdam, a group of young students enjoys everything life has to offer: wealth, sex, and power… until they – without realizing it – open a hidden access to a demonic world from the Dutch Golden Age.” Sounds interesting to me. The name and cast remain a secret for now, but it is known that Golden Calf winner Pieter Kuijpers is the producer and the series is written by the writers' collective Winchester McFly. I sense a Barry Atsma coming. A Carice. A Michiel Huisman. Guys, this is going to be big. Mark my words.
