Holy moly: is Art Rooijakkers getting rid of Dennis Weening at Expeditie Robinson?

Okay, shit is going on and we need to discuss this clearly. There are rumors that Art is going to ‘take over’ Dennis's spot on Expeditie Robinson. Huh? What? Angry tongues claim the following. When Art left Who is the Mole? and made the switch to RTL, he supposedly said during negotiations that he wanted to present Expeditie Robinson as a condition. Speaking of mole tricks...

And look, this could all be a tall tale, but I think there’s a lot of smoke lately to say there’s no fire. In the Coen and Sander Show, Dennis reacted quite awkwardly to the rumors yesterday. Let me summarize it briefly for you.

Coen: “We have heard that Art is going to take your place.”

Dennis: “I heard that too. I’m getting calls about it, but I don’t know where this story comes from.”

Coen: “But is it true?”

Dennis: “Ehhhh. It’s not true. I know I can be honest, I know that, yes.”

Coen: “Yeah, that would be really unfortunate.”

Dennis: “I think: what are they all talking about? That’s the annoying part.”

Coen: “So you’re going back to the Robinson island in May?”

Dennis: “Yes, I hope so, yes. It would be really nice if I could do that.”

Coen: “I’m worried that you might be taken off the job.”

Dennis: “That would really suck, yes...”

Hmmm, I’m not quite sure what to think of this. Maybe complete nonsense, maybe an inevitable fact. But if you ask me, Dennis and Nicolette together Expedition Robinson.  belong together for balance. Nicolette with her serious face and Dennis with his nice Hague accent and tattoos. And Art, don’t get me wrong, I really love you (look, proof), but wasn’t Who is the Mole? a much better match for you? You understand: the final word has not yet been said about this. RTL, we fans really want clarity. Is it time to start the ‘We-still-want-Dennis-in-Expeditie’ Facebook group?
