Because being broke in July is actually very healthy. Good for you. A great plan. The best thing you can do. Because: those who are broke in the summer have a cozy and happy life. We are sure of that. Every evening on terraces with white beers and light rosé? Yes. Having to buy a new summer dress every day? Absolutely. A boat party every week, a beach day or a park party? Yes and yes and yes indeed. It's all very expensive, but yes, it's so much fun. And so social. In short: the less money you have left, the larger your circle of friends probably is and the fuller your agenda is filled with scribbled appointments at the coast and by the water, the better. You go, girl.

These are exactly the times of the year that are the most expensive. You want to be everywhere and you've been busy with barbecues, boats, and beer for four weeks in a row.
