Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are getting divorced

Good morning friends, it is my honor to bring you some news that has spread across the worldwide web last night. Although I don't like to write about this kind of news and prefer wedding announcements and that kind of romantic nonsense. Anyway, in the category of you-really-didn't-see-this-coming (or maybe you did): Jennifer Aniston and her husband Justin Theroux announced last night that they have been separated since the end of last year. The couple got married less than three years ago, but had been a couple since 2011.

It was remarkable that the two had been doing well without each other for a while. Justin was often found in NYC while Jennifer spent most of her time in Los Angeles.

“In an effort to stop further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. The decision was made jointly and with love at the end of last year,” the statement reads, which was published by New York Daily News among others. The two do not provide any further reason for the separation. They do let it be known that they have parted as best friends and are looking forward to a loving friendship together.

Well, and then I can only say one thing. Is there still hope? Will it then? Twitter is certainly not wasting any time.
