Spotify is a kingdom and our rappers are in charge. Lil’ Kleine and Frenna lead the way with their latest single ‘Verleden Tijd’. You know, the original song by Abel. I’m not quite sure what’s going on, but one Dutch classic after another is suddenly being blasted into the mix with autotune. Do we still remember Ronnie and his ‘Omarm me’? Of course, there are the haters. ‘What an uncreative thing, go come up with a song yourself’ and: ‘Why ruin a beautiful song?’.
