Manon de Boer

Ah Manon, the last time we saw each other there were quite a few glasses of champagne and tubs of Magnum ice cream present. Golden combination by the way. And today she’s shining for our camera and proving once again that she is in the right industry when it comes to work. Manon works as a stylist, so she knows better than anyone where to find the coolest clothing pieces. Leopard print, I have a weakness for it, just like for the color red which is too little present in my own wardrobe. Those two together? Well, that’s actually just as perfect a combination as that champagne with ice cream I just mentioned.

When someone works as a stylist, I’m always curious about what her favorite brands are. For Manon, it’s a mix of brands, but what she currently loves to wear are pajama blouses or long kimonos that she shops at Love Stories, Rat & Boa, or vintage. The big designer brands that make her smile are Chloé, Dries Van Noten, Isabel Marant, and just like the Amayzine team, she’s also a sucker for everything from Gucci.

The lovely pop of color she’s wearing today consists among other things of red trousers that she shopped at Mango. She’s wearing a leopard coat from Costes, a vintage vest from Maastricht, a blouse from the Erdem x H&M collection, shoes from Toral and to top it all off her favorite bag that she once found at H&M and still gets a lot of compliments about. 

Bumping into Manon for some clothing inspiration? You do that at Pllek on the NDSM wharf in Amsterdam. Although I hope of course that we just see each other for a Magnum 2.0 party at the Conservatorium. By far the best party of 2017.
