Make-up ban

I see I see what you don't see and it is... Or better said: it is... On the latest cover of the New York magazine Paper. A singer known for her white blonde locks, perfectly plucked eyebrows, bright red lips and long eyelashes is completely au naturel for the camera lens and it looks so different that there is quite a bit of doubt about the authenticity of this lady. Paper has responded and guarantees that it is really Christina Aguilera. Yes really guys, it’s Xtina, baby. Honestly, would you have recognized her?

Why she posed naked for the camera (well, with a naked head then, huh) Christina explains extensively in her interview with Paper. ‘I am a girl who loves powerful makeup and I have always been someone who loves to experiment and enjoys the theatrical, creates a story and plays a character in a video and on stage. I am an artist. But I am now reaching the point, even musically, that it is liberating to be able to strip everything away, to appreciate who you are and show your raw beauty,’ says Christina.

Make-up should be banned. At least, if your name is Christina Aguilera. It can't get any prettier, right?
