Making soup: even a hit if you hate cooking
If I like to cook something, it's soup. And that says something, because I hate cooking. But soup is perfect for dinner.
Why? It's very healthy, not too expensive, and yes... it's the easiest. Especially with the Philips High Speed vacuum blender. Let's be honest: this is hardly cooking, it's that simple. And you have it on the table so quickly. Still, I call it cooking, because I have to do something. I don't really make many other things in the kitchen.
My personal favorite? Zucchini soup. Very tasty and healthy. Here it comes, for two people:
- Two or three zucchinis, depending on how hungry you are
- Two large onions
- Two cloves of garlic
- A bottle of cooking cream (light is also fine)
- A large dollop of herb cheese
- Bouillon cube
- Water
What do you do? Chop the onions, press the garlic, and finely chop the zucchinis into small cubes and briefly toss everything in a frying pan. With a drizzle of olive oil, of course, but I think you understand that yourself. Let it cook for a bit and in the meantime, put a pot for the soup on with a small layer of water at the bottom. Throw the bouillon cube in there. You can add water to taste, I always do that too. Then comes the fun part. Everything can go into the Philips blender: the water (just wait until the water has cooled a bit before you start blending), the zucchinis, and the garlic with onion. Within three seconds it's ready and can go back into the soup pot. Turn the heat up a bit, throw in the cream, and mix in that dollop of herb cheese as well. A few minutes later, you're enjoying it. And you also get your portion of vitamins. Winning.
And all you need is the Philips High Speed vacuum blender, which can hold 1.8 liters. Your soups stay fresh longer, so you can make a big pot and eat from it the next day. Because thanks to the StayFresh vacuum technology, eight hours after making it, there is three times as much vitamin C in it compared to other blenders. In other words: you want this. You need this. Worth its weight in gold, believe us. Because the same goes for juices, smoothies, cocktails, sauces, puree... And even those of us who hate cooking find it a joy to make.
