You know it, I had new loves. Grace and Frankie. You probably know it, the Netflix series about two old ladies whose husbands announce after forty years of marriage that they are in love. With each other. Grace and Frankie end up in the beach house and have the best adventures. I devoured the series and missed them when the series was ‘over’. By the way, these are the signs that you are seriously addicted to your series. Where was Grace (or Jane Fonda who plays her so brilliantly) in my life? And then I thought of something. Hip ladies of a certain age are also on Instagram. So I searched for Jane. And sure enough. She has an account. And it did not disappoint, what am I saying, it’s brilliant. Here is Jane Fonda's insta-account in 6 remarkable facts.

1. The best

We first see Jane all dressed up and polished as she goes to an Art Gala in Los Angeles. Then we see the same woman in the same dress but let’s say eleven hours later and without makeup. Because there was no one to unzip her dress so she just slept in it. ‘Never wanted a husband in my life until now.“

2. Best news

I had my friends back for a moment because what did I see on her insta. A scene with Lily Tomlin (Frankie, of course) that I didn’t know yet. So there’s a new series coming up. And there’s a little pig involved. Already fun.

3. A sip here a sip there

Jane apparently loves a sip just as much as Grace because for her eightieth birthday she received 80 bottles of Tito vodka that are served on airplanes from a friend.

4. Honesty above all

“It takes a village,” she writes with a photo of her glam squad just before she makes her stage appearance at the Oscars. That we know she doesn’t just look like that.
