Netflix shares the trailer for House of Cards

The new season of House of Cards is scheduled for November 2, but Netflix released the trailer yesterday and it is blood-curdling. Really.

Honestly? After the news about Kevin Spacey I was done with House of Cards. Even though the series is brilliantly conceived, there was a bad taste to it. The creators came up with a masterful twist by crowning Claire as president (or well, something like that), but I still wasn't warming up to it. Until I saw the trailer. Because what a reaction it provokes, the wide-eyed noooooo-yeeeesss kind. As if the mind behind House of Cards thought: but then let's really make sure that women come to power.
