New job for Dennis Weening
We will really miss him, he will only be seen as the presenter of Expeditie Robinson for a few more weeks. But he is leaving after this season.
Who his successor will be is not yet known, but we guess something with Art Rooijakkers. Fortunately for our friend Dennis, he has already landed a new job. He will be presenting the first edition of Ink Master: Meesters van de Lage Landen – Shop Wars. In other words, that program where tattoo artists will compete for who can draw the best.
He is happy about it: ‘I always watch it myself and I love tattoos, so this was a great opportunity that I couldn't pass up.’ He immediately proved himself. He got a tattoo while sitting in a speeding boat on the wild sea. You have to be brave to do that. Because what if it goes wrong, right? You could end up with that ink stain on your arm for the rest of your life. It turned out well for Dennis: ‘It’s done very neatly. Given the circumstances, it actually turned out to be an incredibly cool tattoo. So I’m very happy with it.’
We will have to wait a little longer until Dennis is seen again: the new show will be on Spike starting February 18 next year. He deserves it, we will watch. Even if it’s just to support him a bit after everything that has happened at RTL.
