Pasta poking in Gucci style

This morning, a message came in that made us all at the editorial office sigh, fly a few centimeters into the air, and spontaneously start waving our passports. News from Italy, and not just any news. Gucci news. Are you sitting?

The fashion house we love so much has taken a step towards the food sector after launching a unique fashion campaign in collaboration with Spanish artist Ignasi Monnreal. Creative director Alessandro Michele is expanding the Gucci Garden Galleria, located in one of the most beautiful squares in Florence, with a restaurant, a shop, and an exhibition. Yes girlfriend, you heard it right: Gucci on your arm, Gucci around your waist and now also Gucci on your plate.

As we are used to from Gucci, the luxury fashion house will not deviate from its roots and will serve traditional Italian dishes but with an international twist. The level you can expect: Michelin-star chef Massimo Bottura (known from the three-star restaurant Osteria Francescana in Modena) has ensured that there will definitely be a Parmigiano tortellini, Peruvian Tostadas, and a velvety risotto on the menu. Full belly? Then you can head straight to the gift shop for a new pair of loafers. I feel an editorial trip coming up. Ladies, when are we going? Florence is calling us.
