Recently, the entire editorial team made a list of our favorite baby names. I decided to hold back my input, because, well, at this stage, that's just too much to reveal. Even if I give one mini-hint about what I like, it's already too much.

But sharing the coolest names for next year is definitely okay. I certainly didn't come up with them myself, but wow, they are all so cool one by one. And don't think right away that my favorite options are in there, because I really want to keep the names I've chosen for my boys a secret. By the way, we came to a surprising conclusion quickly. I thought: this will take hours and days and weeks of discussing and consulting and weighing options, but no. We heard or read a name and thought: yes, this fits us. This is right. And that happened twice. How nice is that? Actually, we have no doubt anymore: these will be our names. Of course, we can always switch last minute, but for now, we are decided. Yes, it's exciting to keep it quiet for so long. How do people do that? Sometimes I'm afraid I'll accidentally let something slip, because I do call them secretly like that to my belly every now and then. It makes it all feel a bit more real.
