hold your horses
On this date, the big sale starts at your favorite store
Sales shopping; you either love it or hate it. But even if you're a hater, there is one day of the year that you really can't miss: the very first day of the big summer sale. Because there always has to be shopping for festivals, beach days, summer weddings or days with the tropical schedule at your office. When do the stores start throwing out all those discounts? We know. H&M, Zara, Bershka, Asos, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Mango, & Other Stories, Oysho, and even the Bijenkorf: you name it, we’ve got it. Grab your calendar quickly, because you understand: it needs to be marked heavily in June. Here they come:
H&M
Our Swedish fashion friends are early in the modeling world. The summer sale at H&M starts on Thursday, June 7, or a week later on Thursday, June 14, where discounts of 50% or even 70% will be thrown around generously.
Asos
When you say Asos, you say: always discounts. But especially at Asos, there will be significant online deals to score that are heavily discounted in the months of June and July. I say: fill your shopping cart on May 31 and check out on June 1.
& Other Stories
H&M's sister kicks off the big summer sale with 30 to 50 percent off, with the beauty and stationery line also being part of it. Thursday, June 7, or Thursday, June 14 is the sale kickoff.
Zara
Zara does it like a true Spaniard, nice and tranquila, and traditionally steps into the summer sale as one of the last fashion chains. This will be on the second-to-last or last Thursday of June (which means we will land on June 21 or 28 this year), with no less than three rounds starting with 30% off, followed by 50% off, and ending with a bang with the 70% final.
Mango
Around Saturday, June 16, the Mango sale will burst forth, where almost the entire store will be provided with a sale shopping paradise sorted by color and price.
Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Bershka, and Oysho
There is a good chance that the above retail chains will hang out their sale flags around the same day as Zara. This is because they all fall under Zara's parent company (Inditex). So mark Thursday, June 21, or Thursday, June 28.
The Beehive
And last but certainly not least, our favorite department store: the Bijenkorf, which will give the sale starting shot in the third or fourth week. And you know it: because you bought it on sale, you actually made money, right?
