Proven: a little bit of wine is good for your brain

Thirst quenching you do from now on just the old school way, with a flute. Or a glass of white. And not with water, are you crazy.

Because alcohol would therefore really officially be good for your brain. At least, if you keep drinking a little civilized, because it’s really just a small amount of alcohol in this case. Now you might be wondering just one thing: how much then, how much then, how muuuuuch can we responsibly down? Researchers have just brought this delightful fact to light in science and they say: 2.5 glasses of alcohol per day can in principle do no harm to your brain. Wow, what happy news.

So how does that work? It’s all fine, such a sip of conviviality, because the brain can get rid of waste products better this way. Toxic substances are better eliminated and that reduces the chance of inflammation and other misery. Additionally, there is a smaller chance of dementia if you toast every now and then with a bell Chardo. Or two bells. We’re not making this up because it’s the weekend, no, it’s researched.

Before you jubilantly start on your third bottle of vino and we have the Jellinek clinic on our backs again… So we’re not saying that you can drink without restraint. Drinking a lot for a long time has negative effects on your nervous system. And then you can actually start experiencing cognitive decline. So do not binge drink, keep it classy.

Well, with a wine or 2.5 I’m already a satisfied person, you know. Clink, weekend, what a thirst.
