singles with a dog are more attractive
If you just don't meet a man who turns you upside down and gives you weak knees: no stress.
Because you can solve it were single easily and pleasantly. The only key to success? Rampampam… Get a dog. Yes indeed. A poodle, a labradoodle or a dachshund: anything goes. Whichever you prefer. Because singles with a dog are more attractive, as several studies show. Men and women on a dating site are chosen faster when they appear in a photo with a wagging four-legged friend. When they can choose from all the dog breeds that exist, the singles see their bed partner to be preferably with a labrador or a beagle. But in principle, any dog works well. According to experts, this is mainly because singles come across as more reliable when they have a pet. They automatically seem kinder, more caring, and empathetic, although this is not actually based on anything by those looking for a partner.
Do cats do it too? Unfortunately not, for all cat lovers. Only 18 percent of singles find people with cats the most attractive, compared to 63% of singles who choose a man or woman with a dog. Additionally, 19% prefer a partner without any pets.
It gets even juicier. Because if we take a look at what everyone thinks who themselves has a pet, one thing is crystal clear. Singles with pets are looking for a partner who also loves dogs or cats. For instance, 32% of people with a dog on a leash say they find it a deal-breaker if the other person doesn’t like dogs. And also 27% of cat owners say they would cancel a date if that person says they have a terrible dislike for little kitties. Or, the sneaky ones: some fake that they are allergic are for dogs or cats. While they are not. A great start to a relationship full of trust, so to speak.
Anyway: if you can’t find a guy you click with, take a spontaneous walk with the neighbor’s dog, put the good boy on your profile picture and wait. In no time, that match will be there – you can start with the puppies soon enough.
