Seal is not really that impressed with Oprah

While most people only have praise for Oprah and her speech at the Golden Globes last Sunday (Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks even want to start an Oprah 2020 campaign), there is one man who is not so impressed with the presenter and actress. Do you remember Seal? The man behind the song ‘Kiss From A Rose’ who was once married to Heidi Klum and according to Google has worked as a judge on the Australian The Voice (I had to look it up because I personally felt like I hadn't come across his name in ten years). Anyway, the best man had the following to say about Oprah on his Instagram:

‘Oh I forgot, that’s right… you’d heard the rumors but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young starry-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad. #SanctimoniousHollywood’, including photos of Oprah and Harvey Weinstein together.

When it became known that Harvey Weinstein was being accused by multiple women of unwanted advances and sexual abuse, Oprah herself had already released a statement, because yes, they indeed knew each other from the film world. ‘I’ve been processing the accounts of Harvey Weinstein’s hideous behavior and haven’t been able to find the words to articulate the magnitude of the situation.’ It seems clear to me that she is indicating she was not aware of his actions and is horrified by them.

In short, Seal is not going to make any new friends with this. I wonder if there will be a response from Oprah's side.
