So handy: you look younger when you find someone attractive
Another swipe of concealer, flattering jeans on, hair in curls, plus a trillion tricks to look somewhat put together for the day. Honestly: relatable, right? But I have good news, because it doesn't have to be like that anymore. You can just walk out the door in a faded shirt, because your body does all the work. Small disclaimer: only with people you find attractive. Which is also quite handy, I think.
May I have a standing ovation for Mother Nature? It's true: you look younger when you find someone attractive. And you do it all by yourself. Unconsciously, that is, but still by yourself. Because you feel attracted to someone, you undergo physiological changes when that person is nearby. How does it work? Your bags under your eyes shrink (woooow), your face tightens and the muscles contract. The whole body tenses up, because you automatically suck in your stomach, push your chest out and pay attention to your posture. Speaking of presenting on a silver platter... Men do the same as women, because they want to show themselves from their lively side.
The catch is that for the rest of humanity, those you don't feel wild about, you do need all those attributes to appear attractive. Man oh man, speaking of the upside-down world. But now you have your free pass to run into the love of your life in the supermarket on a Sunday morning with undone hair and a hangover. Because those bags disappear and you still look pretty good when you see him. Vavavooooom.
