The myth exists that YouTube is only fun for 13-year-old Enzo Knol fans. I'm going to prove you otherwise now. If you have read my guilty pleasure , you know that I'm hooked on vlogs. Because a change of (almond) food makes you eat, I like to share my top 8 Dutch female YouTubers.
1. Nienke Plas (& Frenky-Dean)
Nien manages to talk for about three quarters of an hour in a video twice a week. I always hear myself laughing out loud when I watch a ‘Shitty Diary‘. She deserves to be at the top of this list but not without a shout out to her son Frenky-Dean a.k.a. F-D a.k.a. Michael Jackson, the cutest kid EVER.
2. Monica Geuze
‘Mo Mo’ was one of the first to join. When she switched from daily vlogging to weekly vlogs, I started to like her even more. And since her little munchkin Zara-Lizzy was born, I refresh YouTube on Monday afternoons hoping for a new video.
3. De Huismuts
Rachel van Sas captures her life at the Albert Cuyp in a super recognizable and beautiful way. Together with Willem @daddyhox, daughter Pip (baby 2 is on its way) and dog Dibbes, she forms one of the coziest families I ‘know’. Currently, the van Sas family is in Indonesia. I would go watch.
4. Co with the Flow
If you follow ‘De Huismuts’, you already knew neighbor Co(linda). My prayers have been answered and Co recently started her own YouTube channel. Besides vlogger, dancer, and voice imitator, Co has also been working as a flight attendant at KLM all this time. Fly around the world with Co with the Flow.
5. Yara Michels
Go-getter Yara Michels takes her subscribers along every week in her busy life. The daughter of communication strategist Wil Michels has a view on fashion, beauty, interior, and more. She is the editor-in-chief of LINDA.meiden and a host at Shownieuws. As her own credo states: ‘here to encourage, engage and enjoy’.
6. Jipp Heldoorn
Jipp is 22 years old and recently gave birth to her third baby. You're already googling, right? Together with her husband Luke (check those buns), they share their pink cloud that sometimes takes on the color of toddler poop.
7. Vera Camilla
Vera Camilla is the definition of sweet. With her super contagious laugh, she provides you daily with trends in beauty. And the fact that Vera also has a beautiful inside is evident from her commitment to body positivity. You go, girl.
8. Mrs. Jamie Li
She was heavily criticized last summer for the sharply written book she released. Still, I faithfully watch the vlogs that ‘Mrs. Jamie Li’ uploads. With her two too funny kids, tips on fashion, plus her sense of humor and jams, she is definitely worth a click on the subscribe button.
