Successful women never say these words
Sleeping rich you unfortunately won't, so hop, get to talking. If you want to reach the top, you better know what you need to do.
Or better said: you better know what you need to say.
Because successful women have a certain vocabulary from which we can learn a lot. They simply eliminate certain words, just like that, as easy as pie. Do you also want to see extra zeros in your savings accounts? Focus. To begin with, they leave out all the words that exaggerate things. Totally unnecessary, let's say. As in: very, a lot, completely, super, cool, incredibly, immensely, mega, goddamn. That idea. So don't say: ‘I found this a super nice conversation’ and: ‘I think this plan is incredibly cool’. That sounds childish and therefore unprofessional. Do say: ‘I found this a nice conversation’. Look, hop, immediately a lot more businesslike. Then you come across surprisingly powerful without too much effort.
Furthermore, successful businesswomen do not use filler words. So don't stick ‘you know’ at the end of every sentence. ‘We have a meeting about coffee beans, you know.’ No. Also ‘so’ and ‘indeed’ or ‘just’ are culprits and made for losers at the bottom of the ladder. ‘Yes, let's just make a spreadsheet.’ ‘I don't think that plan is good, so.’ Ouch. Why you should better avoid this? You sound a lot more insecure and that's not needed in the workplace. When you say something, it's your opinion and you should convey that without doubt.
In addition, you can certainly skip all kinds of nonsensical, vague, unimportant adjectives in conversations. So nonsensical, vague, and unimportant: can all go away. You come across sharper this way and people listen better to your story.
There. That was the lesson on becoming successful for today. You can now hang out on the couch, watch Netflix and cuddle with your cat, yay.
