The 2 most expensive houses in the Netherlands

Which house shall I take?

This is exactly what you feel like on a Saturday morning. Two properties that I need to share with you. I'm not quite sure yet. Will it be the city or do we choose the countryside? It's a tough choice.

Option 1: the city

In Amsterdam-Zuid on Johannes Verhulststraat lies this great little property. 400 square meters spread over five floors. Do you find that too much stair hassle? Save your worries for bigger problems (like: which fireplace shall we lie by tonight? There are 6 of them.), because there is an elevator. And yes, it goes all the way to the roof terrace with jacuzzi. Oh, you'd rather stay in the garden? That's fine too.

If you're suffering from a little cold (by the way, these are the best sex positions when you're cold) or tired muscles; there is of course a sauna in the house. And a steam shower. And a changing room. And I would say that the current owner will leave the nice furniture for this amount of just under four million. Right?

Option B: the country estate

In the leafy Aerdenhout, you will find the country estate Klein Bentveld. Don't immediately sigh when you hear the price. 16 million and 750,000 euros is no small change. But still, you get value for your money. We're talking about a main house (980 m2 spread over two floors), a hunting lodge of 300 square meters, a coach house of 292 square meters, and another four hectares of land. Soooo.

What makes me a bit moist between the cheeks is the climate-controlled wine cellar, the 24 square meter dressing room (that's 6 by 4, guys, 6 by 4), the heated swimming pool, and the pool house of 80 square meters (that's just an average house in Amsterdam) with four changing rooms, a kitchen, a walk-in shower, and oh, what else.

Of course, there is a tennis court (DUH) and the gardener has also been considered. He has his own day room by the gate.

I think I've made up my mind. Anyone got a lottery ticket to spare?
