The Barbie foot is the new Instagram trend this summer
Out with the duck face. Out with the accidentally on purpose looking away. Out with the ‘sitting on your knees in your swimsuit in the sea with your breasts forward’ pose. Those are finito, old-fashioned, gone.
If you want to join in on Instagram, from now on you do the ‘Barbie foot’. The what? You have to stand exactly like Barbie always stands. In other words: take one leg a step forward and you place your foot just off the ground. You let it hover a little above the ground. And although we find most mandatory poses on social media a bit too much of a good thing, we can relate to the whole Barbie foot thing. Looks pretty sexy. And a small effort. And yes, where else are you going to put all those flabby bare legs? Exactly. Practical this. And charming. Good for summer. We can work with this.
