The gifs are back, baby

Our editorial app went crazy this morning. It happens more often, but now for a reason. Because: the GIFs are back on Instagram. Really, the fact that the whole world can see your passwords is quite a bummer, but the GIFs are back on Instagram. I mean: we need to set some priorities in news here.

I obviously had to see it with my own eyes, so I opened Insta, went to Stories and there it was… Those three delightful letters: GIF. Last week I was explaining to the youth in the editorial team (I’m getting old) what CU2 was and that we were already doing GIFs by entering HTML codes and that would give your name in glittering neon, and they looked at me a bit head-shaking. I don’t care, we were already ahead back then. I’ve missed them, those old-fashioned rascals. If you’re looking for me, I’ll be posting useless GIFs all day on my Insta Stories.
