The most beautiful Airbnbs in the Netherlands in 2018
It's weekend getaway time. If you still have to wait for your vacation (hello here) but want to pretend it's almost here (yay), then you can of course splurge your money in an exotic city or just stay in the country. So that's my plan. You just need to pick a date and book an Airbnb. After thorough research, these seem to be the most fun. But don't secretly steal my weekend away, okay?
1. Is it a boat? Is it a suite? Is it a wellness? It's just three-in-one. Chill your butt in the hot tub, put the city on stilts, or lounge on deck with a view of the IJ: all possible. Great place to hang out in Amsterdam.
2. Here. Want. To. Live. I do. It's an old railway house that hugs the dunes, but you're in bustling Bloemendaal in no time. I want to copy-paste the interior to my house, but actually, I want to live there. Oh, you know what? I'll just start with a weekend.

3. In the category will-your-man-be-happy (or you of course): sleeping in an airplane. Head down to Hoogerheide to stay in a Fokker F27. The cockpit is intact, so you can still play pilot before you dive comfortably on the couch. Also not unimportant: Hoogerheide is next to Bergen op Zoom and that happens to be one of my favorite little towns.
4. Back to basics on Texel. You, your love, and a car at the edge of the forest. This accommodation brings out your inner nature lover. It's actually a bit of luxury camping. Think of a story that you wandered the world and ended up here, and you'll never want to go home.
5. Hop in the hot tub. Or steam in the sauna for a bit. This studio is both cool and beautiful and amazing. Honestly: Lelystad wasn't on top of my list to visit, but for this lovely little house, I'll make an exception. And for that hot tub too.
6. Sleep at The Millers Daughter. At the foot of the mill in Groningen, just ten minutes cycling from the center, stands a former wagon transformed into an Airbnb. You enjoy breakfast by the folding doors to the mill, in the afternoon you take a solid walk in the nature reserve de Koningslaagte (something with peace and space) and in the evening you grab your bike to immerse yourself in Groningen.

7. Stay like an artist. You do that in Arnhem at B&B Gaudi by the Rhine. The name says it all, as the ark is partly inspired by Gaudi. You reside in a work of art just a few steps from the cozy Arnhem, although I doubt you'll want to go outside, it's so beautiful.
