Hot off the press. We might get sweaty armpits from the latest bag/jacket/shoes, but most people get excited about music. It just so happens that Dreetje Hazes is releasing a new album today. The first copy went to Gijs Staverman.

The breakup between André and Monique is what it's all about on the album. With tracks like ‘I can't live without you’, ‘Regret will come later’ and ‘When you come back’, it's clear that Dreetje has really thought things over after the split-up. All's well that ends well, Monique is certainly in high spirits with the launch and with Junior.

“Tension is who you think you should be, relaxation is who you are” You were extremely nervous. Do they like it, am I doing it right, is my voice okay? Dear, you were yourself and that means it was good, pure, and powerful. You presented yourself again, together with your band! This album is better than ever, you are better than ever. Partly due to the short break we had, but also the one you had to take from your work, some really impactful powerful songs have come out. Thank goodness that time is over and everything is DIFFERENT!
