The New Life of May

Tomorrow I start. That's what I thought yesterday. And today is the day. Of a new beginning. Nothing dramatic and gripping but I am going to tackle a few things. Everything in the category of bikini body and summer proof. For the past three quarters of a year, there has been a gym on our business park, The Gym Republic. Nice guys, great classes. I used to be there with a small group of people, but now the gym has grown into a hotspot. Top models, presenters, music producers; name it and they work out there. And so do I. For a month now, I have managed to get Adeline to join me, which makes working out even more fun.

But.

Those muscles are there. But they are wearing a little jacket. A jacket in the form of a layer of coziness. I know, I'm not fat. By the way, did you know why you are thicker in winter than in summer? But if I am going to be in the gym three times a week, I want you to see it too.

So.

I have reached out to Richard, one of the two Gym Republic guys. What needed to happen. So from today we are going through the funnel and it looks like this:

  • Three times a week of working out
  • No alcohol
  • I repeat NO ALCOHOL (people with a high IQ prefer to drink wine)
  • No bread/pasta/crackers etc.
  • Yes to eggs, filled salads, meat, fish, and vegetables
  • And for dessert a yogurt with some flavored protein powder
  • And oh yes, as a treat a cappuccino. Occasionally.

So. Here we go. I will keep you updated.
