The thirteen questions of 13 Reasons Why season 3

Season 2 not binged yet? Then I hereby warn you of a few major spoilers. Click away, start Netflix very quickly and come back again. Have you already watched all thirteen episodes long and wide? Then you are in the right place. Because I don't know about you, but I still have a few pressing questions after the finale of season 2. And although the exact release date of 13 Reasons Why season 3 is still a while away, that doesn't mean we can't already dig into a few things. So today for you: the thirteen questions (and maybe also the answers) of 13 Reasons Why season 3. Here they come:

1 Does Hannah return?

During Hannah's funeral, we see her slowly and peacefully walking out through the overexposed doors of the church. Was this Hannah's farewell or does she return in season 3? The chance of Hannah Baker returning in season 3 seems small, as she herself has stated in an interview that she will not return in a potential new season. Furthermore, the lawsuit has officially concluded and her parents are saying goodbye to their life in Crestmont. As painful as it is, I think we really have to say goodbye to Hannah.

2 Does Hannah's dream come true?

Olivia (Hannah's mother) says goodbye to Clay Jensen to fulfill her daughter's dream. She leaves for New York, but what is she going to do there? We are very curious about her role in season 3, you understand.

3 Do Chloe and Bryce stay together?

Chloe was almost done. Almost. Chloe was supposed to testify against her boyfriend Bryce in court, but once in the witness stand, she hesitated at the last moment because Chloe knows all too well who Bryce is and what he has done. No one understands her decision until... Chloe turns out to be pregnant with Bryce. I wonder if Chloe will stay with Bryce despite everything. What do you think?

4 Will Justin overcome his addiction?

Or will his heroin addiction cause even more problems? I hope for the former.

5 Does Monty get away with it?

You know, Bryce's right-hand man who was behind all the threats and also has the horrific rape of Tyler on his conscience. Oh guys, I really hope he gets what he deserves.

6 What is Justin's stepfather up to?

The bad relationship between Justin and his stepfather will not improve much in season 3 now that Justin has stolen money from him again. We see Justin's stepfather parked in the car in front of the courthouse while Justin walks outside. Why was he there? And why did he look so angry? I predict little good.

7 How are you doing, Bryce?

No one dared to testify against Bryce, although Jessica filed a report against him for rape. Even when Justin spoke to the police, Bryce got away with a suspended sentence. But will this really be the only punishment for Bryce? Surely not?

8 Does Mr. Porter take non-active for granted?

I doubt it. This could turn into a case of revenge.

9 Team Alex or Team Justin?

Jessica had a hard time in season 2. And where Justin (her great love) disappeared, Alex (Jessica's ex and best friend) was exactly where Jessica needed him. The two had found each other again until... Justin came back. Jessica wanted nothing more than to hate Justin, but love makes blind and at the Spring Fling Dance party, they kissed. Oh dear Jessica, suddenly you're in a triangle affair...

10 Why did Nina burn the polaroids?

I can still be upset about it. Nina, seriously, why did you burn the evidence against Bryce? He did the exact same thing to you as he did to Hannah and he did it to many more students in that damn clubhouse.

11 How is Tyler doing?

The reason why season 2 was almost removed from Netflix: the horrific rape of Tyler. Tyler, who not long after arrived at Liberty High armed with multiple weapons to cause a bloodbath at the school dance. Thank god Clay was there, who managed to calm him down just in time.

12 How does Clay fix this?

It was certainly a heroic act from Clay, but was it very smart? Although he managed to calm Tyler down just in time, Clay was standing there with a gigantic weapon in his hands. And now that the police are approaching, there is only one thing to do: hope that Clay gets away with it.

13 Does Tyler make Tony a fugitive?

Tony tries to stay on the right path, but with Tyler by his side, Tony's cool car suddenly looks very much like something fugitive. And you understand: with Tony's previous problems with the police, this all looks like a third crime, for which he might have to go to prison for a long time. I hope that goes well...
