These are the healthiest juices

Here's how to make them yourself

You can say a lot about me, but not that I don't make delicious juices in the morning. I customize my smoothies. With banana and ice cubes for the middle girl and me, without banana for my beloved and preferably with fresh fruit. If I'm at it, I prefer to juice and blend a bit more so I have something for later in the day, but I don't do that because then those darn vitamins get lost.

So I go bankrupt on expensive juices that I get in the city and that, to be honest, I also find less tasty than my golden goodies. Problem, in short. But there is a solution. Something nice was delivered again from the Philips company. The Philips High Speed Vacuum Blender. It vacuums the juice during the process, preventing the oxidation process and keeping your juices optimally fresh all day long. With vitamins and all.

How does it work?

Throw all your ingredients in the blender, press the mix and vacuum button, and you will see that during mixing the lid is pulled tightly onto the blender and the contents are vacuumed. It removes the oxygen from the jar before it starts blending. When it's ready, you press the de-vacuum button, loosen the lid, and pour the juices into the provided cups. It's not a problem that the juice is now exposed to the air again: because it has been vacuumed, this has almost no effect. Other positive effects are that the texture is softer and the color brighter.

So you know what my kids are taking to school tomorrow: fresh juices, with vitamins. Ideal also if you want to detox for a day, then you just make your super healthy juices yourself. Cheers!
