These spring scents will naturally give you the jitters

The temperatures may still feel wintery and the heating may be roaring at full blast, the daffodils are shooting up from the ground and the lambs are happily hopping through the meadow. Time to put away the woollies and pull out the flouncy skirts from the closet. Sometimes you just have to push away the nice weather. Spring means not only a new wardrobe, but also a new perfume. Away with those heavy spicy examples, time for fresh, light, and floral. I've gathered the best ones for you. Which is your favorite?

Byredo – Blanche

The Byredo Blanche is a delightful light summer scent, but why wait until the mercury rises? This fragrance is light and powdery, ideal for those first spring tingles.

Maison Margiela – Lipstick On

One of my favorites. A powdery scent that reminds you of lipstick scents and makeup powder in the theater. This one is fresh due to the bergamot and floral due to the iris and orange blossom. Mysterious, sultry, and sensual. Wear at your own risk…

Chanel – Chance Eau Tendre

Many Chanel fragrances are on the heavier side, but not this one. Perfect for the first spring day. Floral and fresh, but not too fresh so that the Chanel image disappears. And yes, since there should be at least one bottle from this house on your shelf, why not a spring version?

Aerin – Hibiscus Palm Eau de Parfum

A trip to a tropical island full of palm trees. Wrap yourself in this scent, close your eyes, and you’ll feel like you’re on a tropical island thanks to the lotus flower and the Hibiscus palm. Frangipani is mixed with the scent of white blossoms, along with the velvety warmth of coconut milk, vanilla, and musk. A one-way ticket to the Maldives please.

Clean – Fresh Linens

What makes me intensely happy? Straightening my duvet in my freshly washed sheets. And that scent is exactly in this bottle. Memories of lying in bed for hours, the warm sun shining through your window, and a light breeze tickling your skin. Heavenly.

Diptyque – Fleur de Peau

Musk, powder, pink pepper, and Turkish rose. Floral yet sensual and a bit heavy. Perfect for you if you prefer to wear something heavier.

Nomenclature – Holly-wood

Actually, I don’t want to reveal my little secret. On my shelf, you will always find a bottle from this perfume house. A big hooray for the fact that there’s a new one on the shelves again. Nomenclature now introduces the modern version of the classic: patchouli. A light floral scent with a classic note, complemented by sparkling pink pepper, Bulgarian rose, sandalwood, and suede: a winning combination. I’m running to Skins, joejoe.
