This favorite series will soon disappear from Netflix
No one told you life was gonna be this way, right? Exactly. And no one ever told us that Netflix would take this series down so quickly.
According to experts, ‘Friends’ will soon be leaving Netflix. And there's a reason for that. Warner Bros, the company behind the series, is launching its own streaming service. There's a good chance that by the end of the year, our six friends from New York will no longer be available to watch.
And hello, we've only been able to watch Chandler, Joey, Ross, Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe since the beginning of this year. Sure, we already know every episode by heart and we've seen each season quite a few times, but still.
We want to keep watching Central Park where that one orange bench is always free for the six main characters. We want to keep watching the huge purple apartment in New York City that apparently is affordable. We want to keep laughing at Joey who doesn't share his food. At Ross and Rachel who actually belong together and of course we already know that they will eventually have a child together, dude. But we relish every argument (WE WERE ON A BREAK) and every reconciliation. Rachel is fantastic anyway. Jennifer Aniston in her younger years, so so so cute. You hardly see that nostalgia in any other series.
In short, a quick ode to Friends, because secretly we all want to hang out in a coffee shop every day with our 5 best friends and we all want to live in New York, all be as beautiful as Rachel, and all sing I’ll be there for you all day long. Because you’re there for me too, dude. Are you listening to us, Netflix?
