Faking it while your guy is lying between your legs panting is therefore a way of giving affirmation to your love. You want to show the other person that you are still crazy about them. In short: we do it because we don't want to hurt the other. We want to maintain that happy relationship.

This applies not only to people in a relationship, as singles who jump into bed with a flame for a night also want to give that affirmation. Not only to give the other a boost, but also to increase the chances of success.
