Oh dear: Famke Louise is accused of plagiarism
‘It's still difficult, isn't it, to come up with a song yourself?’, said one of the reactions on Twitter. In case you missed it: Famke Louise she's churning out hit singles one after another and the reviews are harsh.
Now I must say that I raised an eyebrow when I saw her latest single ‘LIT’ pop up. Throwing up in your own music video, really? Storming into a wedding with AK-47s and terrorizing the guests? Interesting choices indeed. But according to the internet, Famke is now also accused of plagiarism.
In particular, the ‘I smoke, I drink, I live’ part bears a striking resemblance to the song ‘Sip’ by Tory Lanez. To be honest, I had never heard of that one either, but I understand the similarities. ‘I smoke, I sip, I drink’ he sings in the same pitch and the beats have quite a lot in common as well. Good to know: Tory Lanez released that song a year ago. A case of copy-paste? Or is it a bit of nonsense and can we Maan also accuse Ronnie Flex of plagiarism for copying a bit from ‘Dilemma’ by Nelly and Kelly Rowland? Anyway, I would say: judge for yourself.
