New York buzzed and hummed last night. The Grammys were happening and that brought hordes of celebs out. Leonard Cohen won a posthumous Award for Best Rock Person, Chrissy Teigen revealed that she and John Legend are having a son, Pink appeared with the whole family on the red carpet and Bruno Mars, who is Bruno, Bruno Mars.

Even though Jay Z seemed to be the man of the evening with eight nominations, that title quickly became irrelevant. Singer Bruno Mars received no less than seven Grammys and Jay had to go home empty-handed. Well, empty-handed, let's not forget his stunning wife and daughter who accompanied him. Bruno Mars was honored for: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Album, Best Engineered Album, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Performance. So many ‘of the year’ and even more ‘best’. Kendrick Lamar also did quite well with five Grammys.

About the white rose

At the Golden Globes, there were exactly three women who did not dress in black in solidarity with #metoo. The organization #TimesUp called on artists at the Grammys to show this with a white rose. By the way, she skipped the red carpet and slipped in unnoticed with Blue Ivy. Jay Z and Queen B's daughter truly stole the show at just six years old. A white dress over white pants (how trendy), clutch, and silver Mary Janes.
